In the second quarter of 2025, navigation and maps applications in Italy showed varied performance on the unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating around 31K to 43K. The app's active user base demonstrated an upward trend, increasing from approximately 2.3M to over 2.5M by the end of the quarter.

Google Maps Go experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 39K in the last week of June. Active users also showed a steady increase, peaking at about 33.3M. Revenue remained minimal, with slight spikes during May and June.

Google Earth saw a slight decline in weekly downloads initially, before stabilizing around 22K to 26K. Active users varied, with numbers ranging from 700K to over 850K by the quarter's end.

Mapy.com: maps & navigation showed positive growth in revenue, peaking at $848 in mid-June. Downloads increased steadily, reaching over 13K, while active users grew from 33K to approximately 66K.

Finally, Satellite View - Maps - Radar displayed fluctuating download trends, with a peak of over 21K in early May. Active users saw a similar pattern, starting at 7K and peaking at 28K.
